More Shredding, Less Waste: S4B’s Efficiency Upgrade

More Shredding, Less Waste: S4B’s Efficiency Upgrade!

S4B Group is thrilled to announce a significant expansion of our recycling capabilities with the arrival of our new industrial compactor baler. This investment is already generating substantial savings by enabling us to shred and bale materials on-site. The increased capacity allows us to accumulate a full articulated lorry load, eliminating the need for frequent skip collections and significantly reducing transport costs, which in turn contributes to a smaller carbon footprint.

To support our growing range of recycling services, we’ve also welcomed a valuable new full-time team member. This addition has enhanced our operational efficiency, allowing us to extend the running time of our shredding machines and process more materials for local businesses and residents.

East Grinstead Mayor Tours S4B Group Premises

We were honoured to celebrate this milestone with Steve Ody, the Mayor of East Grinstead, particularly as this year marks our 10th anniversary at our current premises. Steve commented “It is really great to see a local, family run business S4B Group expanding their operations to provide more secure shredding and recycling solutions to other, local Sussex and Southeast based businesses as well as local residents. They’ve stopped what is essentially a waste product (cardboard) being dumped in landfill and have recycled it into another valuable animal bedding product with S4Bed.

This business is working hard on being greener, reducing their carbon footprint and recycling responsibly. All the while delivering high quality customer service for archive storage, secure document and cardboard shredding and IT Destruction for the local business community and beyond.

I think the idea of a free community shredding day in October is an excellent incentive for local residents to securely recycle old paperwork, and it’s a great initiative of S4B Group to provide a free cardboard drop off service at their premises, which means that less cardboard goes to landfill and the circular economy continues. “

Community Shredding Event

Adding to the excitement, we’re pleased to announce another FREE community shredding event. On Saturday, October 4th, 2025, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, residents can bring their confidential paperwork and obsolete IT equipment for secure, complimentary shredding. Our team will be on hand to handle all your shredding needs.
