Our recent ‘community shredding day’ has been hailed a success, with many notes of thanks coming in from those that came along to have their items securely shredded. We had over 120 vehicles pass through our gates.
Nearly 3000kg of paper was shredded with our machines running constantly throughout the day. This equates to saving 51 trees through the process of recycling. We have shredded over 100 hard drives and downstream recycled over 190kg of electronics.
One of our visitors on the day, Mrs Grant, commented “I didn’t know what to expect and was very pleasantly surprised. All very efficient and easy as I was able to park very close and the very friendly team unloaded my boot. Top marks! Feeling good to have got rid of old paperwork and a few IT things.”
